Big Man Gathering

The Venue

The Big Man Gathering is being held this year at WoWo campsite, Waspbourne, Sussex TN22 3QT, which is about 5 miles east of Haywards Heath. Trains run to Haywards Heath or Uckfield, and travel by road is straightforward.  This link takes you to their directions page.

Wowo is a fantastic site for our purposes. It has a variety of spaces, indoor and outdoor, to hold workshops.  A fire circle is in the centre of the ‘village’.  For two very short video clips showing the main gathering area on site, go to;

Daily Programme

Events start on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. with breakfast (included in price).  There are morning and afternoon sessions of workshops up until roughly 6pm.   A special Saturday evening BBQ dinner is included in the Saturday day ticket price. Following dinner there will be a process to bridge us into the following day. This event will finish around 10 p.m.

The Sunday programme starts around 9:00, with morning and afternoon sessions.  A closing circle will conclude about 5 p.m.

Camping on site

This year we have the added bonus of being able to camp in any of several camping areas starting at £5 per night (min 2 nights).  For those not taken by camping in their own tent, WoWo offers ‘glamping’ in pre furnished bell tents!

You will need to book with and pay the campsite owners, through the special booking page they have set up for us.

Catering

Catering arrangements for the lunches and dinners will be announced closer to the date and we would appreciate suggestions on what this could look like.  We have been in touch with local caterers who serve the venue and possibilities include various vegetarian options, Paellas and a hog roast.
