A new centre-right party called Justice for men & boys (and the women who love them) – 0r ‘J4MB’ for short – is planning to contest the top 30 Conservative marginal seats at the 2015 general election.
One of the men standing for J4MB is Ray Barry who attended the First National Conference for Men and Boys in 2011. Ray is leader of another political party – The Equal Parenting Alliance – and will be standing in the Wolverhampton South West constituency for J4MB.
The party is holding its first public meeting this weekend at 15:00 – 17:00 on 18 May (doors open 14:45). The venue is the Harpur Suite bar, in the centre of Bedford. Party founder Mike Buchanan will give a presentation followed by 90 minutes of Q&A and discussions. Entry fee is £5.
The issue of how we make men’s issues political issues will be one off the themes discussed at this year’s conference.
